What the app does with your contacts
With your permission, the app reads the contacts on your device from every account on the phone: names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, birthdays and other dates, photos, related names, social profiles and similar fields. On Android it also reads contact notes. On iPhone it does not, because Apple only allows that with a special permission the app does not have.
It uses that access only to:
- create backup files (vCard) and exports (CSV, Excel, JSON) that you decide where to save or send;
- show you a preview before restoring contacts from a backup;
- find duplicate contacts and, when you confirm, merge them;
- keep backups inside the app's private storage so you can compare and undo changes.
The app changes your contacts only when you confirm a restore, a merge, a deletion of empty cards or a copy between accounts. It saves a backup of your contacts first, every time.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you send it. When you choose a destination such as Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, AirDrop, Mail or Quick Share, the file goes to that app or service and its own privacy terms apply. The app contains no code that connects to the internet, and on Android it does not request internet access.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
None. The app contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools. If you have turned on crash reports in your phone's settings, Apple or Google may receive them through their own systems; they never include contact data.
Notifications
If you turn on backup reminders, the app schedules them on your phone. They are not sent from a server.
Purchases
The one-time Pro purchase is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play. The app only learns that the purchase exists. We never see your payment details.
How long data is kept
Backups stay in the app's private storage on your device until you delete them in History, until your "Keep backups" setting removes older ones, or until you delete the app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Because we collect no data, we hold nothing to show, correct or delete for you. Everything stays under your control on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. Important changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
